Maple Ski Ridge, 2725 Mariaville Road, Schenectady is hosting “Run the Ridge” to raise funds for the Albany Vet Center. We will have a 5K Mud Run at 9, 10 & 11 AM and a 2K Family Run at 12:00 noon. The 1st 100 people to register will receive a FREE Run the Ridge T-Shirt, a beer (or Soda) & hot dog and our undying gratitude! The 5K race will feature challenging obstacles including water, fire, crawling, climbing and of course mud! The course will be designed by Military personnel & participants should arrive prepared to face a challenge. The 2K Family Races will feature physical challenges as well, but it will be toned down for younger athletes. We must insist that all families assume responsibility for their actions and assist your children so they will not be put into a harmful situation. Children that Run the Ridge will receive acknowledgment of their efforts and must run with a parent/guardian if under the age of 10. An adult may chaperone more than 1 child in this race.
