Long time Whitesboro resident, Walt Kresa, is currently battling ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
There will be a benefit in his honor at the American Legion,
110 Main Street, Whitesboro. We are going to have Food, Entertainment, 50/50, Chinese Auctions. Tickets will be $20 each.
Charleston Historical Society Free Speaking Series
The Charleston Historical Society will be hosting its first program for the year titled “Mother Earth – Her Strengths and Remedies”. The program will feature guest speaker, Sue Pacillo. This program will focus on herbs and vegetables that provide magical properties and natural remedies. Everyone will depart from the program with a garden gift. This will be the first of a two part program. Part Two of this program will take place at our October harvest program.
The program is free to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
The Charleston Historical Society’s headquarters is the former First Baptist Church of Charleston, located on Polin Road in the Town of Charleston. Follow NYS Route 30A south outside of Fultonville to the Town of Charleston. Take a right off of Route 30A on to Polin Road to the Charleston Historical Society’s headquarters.
