All Day Run the Ridge Maple Ski Ridge, 2725 Mariaville Road in Schenectady, will once again be holding “Run the Ridge” to raise funds for the Albany Vet Center on July 27th, 2013. We will be starting the day at 8:45 with a Fast & Furious Run, with additional runs at 9:30, 10:15 and 11:00 an A 2K Family Run at 1:00pm. The 1st 100 people to register online will receive a FREE Run the Ridge T-Shirt.rn The 5K race will feature challenging obstacles including water, crawling, climbing and of course mud! The course will be designed by Military personnel & participants should arrive prepared to face a challenge. rnrnThe 2K Family Races will feature physical challenges as well, but it will be toned down for younger athletes. 5:30PM 8:00PM Chamber Softball Challenge Gloversville, – The Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce is inviting all members in our local communities to join them for the 2013 Chamber Softball Challenge in collaboration with the Amsterdam Mohawks scheduled for at Shuttleworth Park in Amsterdam. The Fulton Montgomery Chamber and the Amsterdam Mohawks urge everyone including Chamber members, their employees, family and friends, to come out and enjoy a night at the ball game. Ticket prices are a reasonable, $4 for adults, $2 for children over 5, and free for children under 5 years old. Chamber Members will be provided with a complimentary family pass for 4 so the whole family may experience an evening out at the ball game, as well as food and beverage specials.
