||Rummage, plant and bake sale
||The Cold Brook United Methodist Church at 467 Main Street in Cold Brook is having a rummage sale with plenty of plants and baked goods as well. Love to see you there!
||Seafood & Fish Dinners in Holland Patent
||American Legion post 161 in Holland Patent is serving delicious seafood and fish dinners; featuring fresh haddock, broiled scallops, broiled fish and more every Friday through November 22nd. The dinner includes a "super salad bar", children are half price. The proceeds will benefit children and youth programs as well as building and equipment improvements. For take-out orders call 865-9921. We cater weddings, banquets and "get togethers" and our banquet hall is available for rental.
||Things That Go Bump in the Night
||This Halloween season, guides lead you through the shadowy grounds of the Farmers' Museum and its 19th-century village, recounting its many mysteries and ghostly happenings. Hour-long tours begin every half-hour. Reservations are required: (607) 547-1452. $10/person.
||Haunted Historical Cemetery Tour
|| Under the watchful eyes of a dull haunted moon- By the light of a lantern, come with us soon. Bring a sweater and flashlight for a night full of lore—for the guide, Wes Laraway, has many tales in store! Located at the Middleburgh Cemetery, Huntersland Road. Visitors can park on Llama Lane. The tour begins in Colored Section of the cemetery. Only 100 tickets available…call 518-827-5142 or stop at the Middleburgh Library desk for tickets. The event will be held regardless of weather and last approximately 2 hours. There is NO Parking in the Cemetery. Remember that the cemetery is dark and slippery so please dress appropriately and bring a flashlight.

Proceeds benefit preserving Middleburgh’s local historical documents.
||Utica Zoo Spooktacular
||The Utica Zoo will host its 26th annual Spooktacular. This year, the Haunted Hall & Forest of Fear Hayride is back with new themes to keep you on your toes. Throughout the weekend, 13 Trick or Treat Stations will entice visitors. Zoo admission for the event is $3 for everyone with only infants at no charge (no membership discounts for the event.) ||Mohawk Haunted Hayride
||The Haunted Hayride is back! The hayride, sponsored by Alexander Hose Co. #1, Joseph Berberich Hose Co and Herkimer Elks Club #1439, is to benefit the Susan G Koman for the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation. The event is held at Gelston Castle on Robinson Road in Mohawk. If you are interested in doing a skit or helping out contact Bernie Sommer at (315) 717-8719.
