All Day First Baptist Church Annual Roast Beef Dinner The Ilion First Baptist Church on the corner of Otsego & Second St in Ilion is holding its annual roast beef dinner. Tickets for Adults cost $10.00 and for children ages 5 to 10 is $5.00. The church is handicapped accessible and take-Out dinners are available.
5:30PM 8:00PM Things That Go Bump in the Night This Halloween season, guides lead you through the shadowy grounds of the Farmers' Museum and its 19th-century village, recounting its many mysteries and ghostly happenings. 6:00PM 9:00PM Utica Zoo Spooktacular The Utica Zoo will host its 26th annual Spooktacular. This year, the Haunted Hall & Forest of Fear Hayride is back with new themes to keep you on your toes. Throughout the weekend, 13 Trick or Treat Stations will entice visitors. Zoo admission for the event is $3 for everyone with only infants at no charge (no membership discounts for the event.) The hayride, sponsored by Alexander Hose Co. #1, Joseph Berberich Hose Co and Herkimer Elks Club #1439, is to benefit the Susan G Koman for the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation. The featured speaker will be Andrew Drake DEC Forester in Herkimer County. Andrew will speak on the history of New York’s forest lands, current threats to our forests, the importance of stewardship and the role of the forester.
