Come join us for the re-enactment of the 1781 Battle of Johnstown at the Johnson Hall State Historic Site and a variety of locations in downtown Johnstown. The weekend’s interpretive programs and Battle re-enactment will use original locations and routes traveled through the town to the battlefield site. In addition to parking on downtown streets, parking for the two-day event will also be available at the Johnstown High School lot, off Pearl Street. Shuttle van service will be available from 9:30am to 5:00pm each day.
Free Will Breakfast in Paines Hollow
The Paines Hollow United Methodist Church is holding a free-will breakfast at the Church located at the intersection of Route 167 and 168. The menu will include pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, juice, coffee and tea. Take-outs are available and the proceeds will benefit a local family at Christmastime.
