Jenn is currently battling stage 4 lung cancer. She fought and won against liver and brain cancer. She must now undergo chemo every 3 weeks for the rest of her life and co-pays from that and medications are just getting to be too much. She was an EMT and worked at the manor in Cooperstown for 23 years, until cancer took that away from her. Come out and show your support at the Cherry Valley Community center.
The annual H.A.L.O, (Helping Animals Live Organization), “Spring Trash and Treasure Sale” is at the Herkimer Polish Home, 319South Washington Street. There will be a wide varietyof household items, books, toys, jewelry and special collectors items for sale with all proceeds benefitting the H.A.L.O House cat shelter in Little Falls. If you would like to donate items for the sale you can drop them off at the Polish Club Friday anytime after noon.
The Annual Parade For Paws Animal Cruelty Awareness Walk is at Eastern Park on East Mainin Little Falls. Registration is at 10, the walk begins at 11. The event is free but donations are welcome. Leashed pets are also invited.
